To end electric service with LMUD, please visit our office, as soon as possible in order to sign a Disconnect Service Order.

For your convenience, you can Email your disconnect information to the office. When you email your request, please include the following information:

  1. Type of Service: Disconnect
  2. Customer Name
  3. Customer Number
  4. Current Service Address
  5. Current Mailing Address
  6. Forwarding Address

You should not rely on future tenants, landlords or buyers to assume the service in their name, thus removing yours. If the service continues in your name, you will be responsible for the electricity used.

Remember that your deposit, if not previously refunded, will be applied to your final bill.
