Payment Types and
Amounts
Credit card payments
will be accepted for any amount owed to the District on their electric
account. Payments on line extension charges, new service construction
fees and claims of damages against the District may not be paid
by credit card.
Processing
Acceptable credit cards
are Visa and MasterCard.
District personnel may
verbally accept credit card payment information over the telephone, customers may use the machine provided in the office or use the web site credit card payment option.
A credit card payment
that is subsequently rejected by the credit card company will be
processed as a check returned for insufficient funds including all
applicable fees and penalties.
Accounts disconnected
for nonpayment may be paid by credit card, however, if such payment
is rejected by the credit card company the account will be disconnected
without notice and will not be reconnected until the account is
paid by cash in full.
