Photovoltaic Buy-Down Program

Lassen MUD offers attractive rebates to our customers who invest in a qualified solar electric system for their home or business. The rebate through June 30, 2013 is $3.22 per installed watt for residential customers. Rebates are limited to the first 4kW of the system with a total dollar cap set at $6,000.00. Rebates will not exceed 50% of the total cost of the job. 

If you are a business owner or other non-residential customer, the rebate amount through June 30, 2013 is $2.26 per installed watt. Systems are limited to 50kW. Rebates will not exceed $25,000.00 or 50% of the cost of the job.

If your system exceeds 50kW you are subject to to LMUD's Small Generator Interconnection Agreement. Please call our Energy Services Manager for more details. (Systems in excess of 50kW are not eligible for the P.V rebate program or the net metering program.)
