Disconnect Service

If you are leaving the LMUD service area and need to disconnect your electric service, please visit our business office.

You are responsible for all charges, usage, and late fees until LMUD receives written notification to terminate service. This cannot be done retroactively.

Please include the following information in all correspondence:

  • Type of Service: Disconnect
  • Customer Name
  • Customer Number
  • Current Address
  • Date to Disconnect Service
  • New Address
  • New Mailing Address (if different from street address)

 

LMUD can generally provide next day service if arrangements are made before 4 p.m. However, to assure that your service is disconnected when you need it, please make arrangements several days ahead.
