As a community-owned utility, Lassen Municipal Utility District (LMUD) is unwavering in our commitment to our core values: safety, teamwork, integrity, sustainability, and transparency.
What does transparency mean to us? It means we involve you, our customers, in running your utility. Our elected board of directors holds monthly meetings that are open to the public. Directors discuss the district’s operations, and the decisions they make are with you and the community we serve in mind.
The meeting starts with a public comment period, during which community members can voice their concerns and thoughts or share comments with the board. Each agenda item is discussed openly, and the public is welcome to weigh in on each item.
We make it easy for you to stay informed and participate. Our meeting agendas are posted on our website, lmud.org, three business days before the meeting. The home page features a direct link for easy access, and you can also view or download minutes from prior meetings, ensuring you're always up to date.
In addition to meeting minutes and agendas, our website also provides access to our annual operating budget and audited financial statements. The financial page is linked under the About Us tab at the top of the home page.
