Summer is when life slows down just enough for friends and family to spend some quality time together and take advantage of all Lassen County has to offer. Longer days mean more time outdoors, community gatherings, and chances to enjoy the places and people that make Northeastern California our home.
From local farmers' markets to dirt track racing, festivals, concerts, parades, and pool days, the summer community calendar offers something for everyone.
Whether it’s a morning spent in historic Uptown Susanville to shop at the farmers market, a leisurely drive to Westwood to take part in the annual Paul Bunyan logging festival, or a full day at the fair, each event is a chance to unplug and be part of something magical.
Summer doesn’t last long here. Make the most of it by exploring our local offerings and reconnecting with the people and places that make our community special.
